Is it possible to get a full-body workout in only 7 minutes?
YES! OF COURSE!
Based on a study performed back in 2012 by Chris Jordan, Director of Exercise Physiology at the Human Performance Institute Division of Wellness & Prevention, he believed in his scientific findings so much that he created a 7-minute circuit training workout consisting of 12 exercises requiring no traditional equipment at all.
JUST 7 MINUTES A DAY.
Unsurprisingly, something this convenient became wildly popular. It’s not much if you really think about it. It’s probably the amount of time you take to scroll through your Facebook, snoozing your alarm clock, or make a cup of tea.
I’ve tried and tested this and it works really well for me! Coming from someone who can only do low-impact exercises who tried 28 mins of HIIT (high intensity interval training) this 7 minute routine do wonders!
YOU CAN DO IT IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN LIVING ROOM.
To be honest, I’ve never been a fan of HICT after trying out 28 mins of HIIT. And I’m a true big fan of taking yoga, or pilates class, and brisk walking but realistically, busy schedules don’t always allow an entire hour of dedication. 7 minutes of HICT sounds reasonable for me to try it. So, I did!
It takes just 7 minutes a day to boost metabolism, fight weight gains, increase endorphins and add amazing years to your life. The effect may not be as great for people who visits the gym but could it still be a beneficial addition to an otherwise varied exercise routine? Certainly! What it is for sure is that for most days, you’ve done at least one thing good for your health. There’s no excuses anymore when I’m travelling or pinched for time.
YES IT IS A FREE APP!!!
What made it easier is that you can download The Johnson & Johnson Health and Wellness Solutions app on iTunes and it’ll self-time for you!
I’ve been using this for the past 3 months and all I can say is that, this is honestly the most convenient workout app I’ve ever tried! Try it out for at least a week and let me know how you think!
