Aesop is one of the most renowned Australia brand that has apothecary-style packaging with the no-nonsense labelling. Which is extremely appealing and gender neutral that’s packed with ingredients and formulas that gets pretty close to “Natural”. A good example of this is the Primrose Facial Cleansing Masque.
IT SMELLS SO GOOD.
The Aesop Primrose Facial Cleansing Masque contains ingredients that address issues that we would face daily; It has clarifying clay formulation that delivers optimal hydration while decongesting and refreshing skin that’s packed with antioxidant clay to draw out impurities, alongside with vitamin E to balance the cleansing effect by ensuring skin isn’t left feeling stripped of moisture. I wouldn’t say this completely works as your skin will feel pretty dry and matte afterwards, but I like the fact that a calming ingredient is included to try and address the dryness and it doesn’t itch after.
If you are looking for a deep cleansing mask that really does the work and you may be prone to sensitive skin, then I highly recommend giving this one a try. It dries tight in a typical clay mask and it does need a bit of effort to remove, but it has a noticeable impact on the skin, I instantly felt that my skin is soft and stripped from impurities. For people who apply dubious amount of sunscreen and make up like me, it is definitely essential to at least use the deep cleansing mask a week.
